This page is
dedicated to the vision of a new and improved Broadacres
Swap Meet. Our ownership team is committed to the long term
improvement of Broadacres Swap Meet. This improvement
started when the current owners purchased Broadacres in
October 2007 with a clear vision. This vision includes
upgrading the current swap meet while improving it with more
entertainment and food options.
The initial
improvement plans were passed by the North Las Vegas
Redevelopment Agency on August 6, 2008. These plans
included a two phased project for the improvements.
Phase 1 involves
the demolition of the three apartment buildings, the grading
of 5 acres, the construction of a new lit parking lot which
will add 356 new parking spaces and an enlargement of the
swap meet.
Phase 2 involves
the building of a truly unique entertainment facility at
Broadacres Swap Meet. The facility will include a large
stage, a covered seating area for over 700, additional
restrooms, and a 6,000 square foot food and beverage
building. This facility will enable Broadacres Swap Meet to
host musical groups, dance teams and a variety of other
entertainment acts.
We are very
excited about these improvements and the future it has in
store for Broadacres Swap Meet. We have added this page so
we can give our customers and vendors updated project news.
